This is the first (LUFT 3207) of two 1/32 scale pieces I have ordered from Luftkrieg 1919, and they are every bit as good--and impressive!--as their 1/16th scale counterparts!! Beautifully and delicately sculpted by Nino Pizzichemi, Natalya is immaculately cast in 5 pieces--including the Pfalz D.VIII rudder "trophy". The image speaks much more eloquently about this piece than I ever could!
The legs have been pegged and fitted to the workbase. She will hopefully be fully assembled by the end of the weekend.
More to follow. . . !
UPDATE 22.01.17. . . Assembly is all but completed with only the right arm remaining to be attached. (DONE!)
To date, this has been a filler-free exercise. This highlights two things: 1) the quality of the design and casting; and 2) the importance of clean-up, finishing, and dry-fitting. If haste doesn't yield waste, it will certainly result in additional needless work! My tip for the day: when attaching the left arm, affix the hand to the hip first, then float a drop of superglue around the shoulder seam and press the arm in place. MAGIC!
