14.04.2019--The back will be somewhat more challenging as the lay-out of the vents is asymme- trical. It will be sectioned as follows:
- Panel 4 - Fauld
- Panel 5 - Main back
- Panel 6 - Left Spaudler, fore
- Panel 7 - Right Spaudler, fore
17.04.2019--Panel 4 is DONE!
20.04.2019--Work on Panel 5 has begun! This is the least symmetrical of the armour panels--surprisingly that will actually facilitate the "venting". . . once the initial layout is established.
22.04.2019--With over 50% of Panel 5 completed, it is now obvious that the armour is under-scaled--there is no way to accommodate all the columns of vents in the space provided. Apparently, I must be the only "rivet [vent?] counter" out there, as not a single commercial offering on the market is accurate in this respect, regardless of scale! Thus, while my rendition will be visually more realistic--and hopefully appealing, the scaling precludes any claim to accuracy.
25.04.2019--Panel 5 is DONE!
26.04.2019--Panels 6 and 7 are DONE! The roughing-in of the armour is complete!! Finishing will be executed in the "Detailing" phases. . .
