Lovely! Worth the 10 year wait :-P I really like your plate work on this one, Augie. The tonal differences between the [plate and mail] and the [cross and weapon point] really make them [cross and point] stand out. The leather work is terrific as well! Rudi
Thank you for your kind comments. The plate work is amongst my best ever, and as I said earlier, some new techniques have been added to the repertoire. There are 5 different metal finishes represented in the piece: steel, blackened steel, russetted steel, iron, and silver.
If I could guarantee results like this on every outing, I would definitely take 12-14 months to paint every figure! ;-)))
